Where We Come From

Barron Insurance, previously known as Krueger Harvey Agency, opened in 1930 and has been helping individuals and families ever since. In 2007, after 28 years of experience as an agent, Jerry Barron proudly became the new owner, and shortly after, changed the name to Barron Insurance & Financial Services Agency. His daughters, Kristen and Amanda, joined the agency — making it a family-owned and operated business. Although Barron Insurance has changed owners and names over the years, it continues to be the longest-standing business in Temperance, Michigan.

Where We’re Going

Thanks to a lot of hard work and deep, abiding faith, we have succeeded as a business and as a family. Today, Amanda and Kristen are the very proud owners of Barron Insurance Agency. As busy working moms, they know how to multi-task and get things done. Our clients appreciate our quick response, knowledge, and nurturing guidance. Our clients are like family and we work hard to help them protect their own families.

At Barron Insurance, we continue to remember and respect the history of the agency, while at the same time, looking to the future. Who can we help today and, in the future, and how? Our overall goal is to help clients and their families by providing better coverage at a better price. Ultimately, we want our clients to have the coverage that most suits their needs and to understand why it’s the right option for them. That may mean they pay more upfront, but at least they have coverage they can count on when they need it — and it often saves them money because they don’t have to deal with any unpleasant surprises about what their insurance does or does not cover. We’ve done our job to keep them educated and informed, so they feel good about their coverage and know it will work for them when they need it.
